Micah strikes again!
We had decided to do a capping trial at our last visit. Overall, we didn't get our hopes up... We had no idea how he would do. Well, apparently he's got this under control! :) We're about 24 hours in and he's been doing well. His oxygen is great! He occasionally works a little harder to breathe than is ideal, but I think he's having a little trouble coordinating swallowing and breathing. The rules of the capping trial are tough. He has to leave it on all the time basically or he fails. He woke up last night a little freaked out and pulled it off. He wouldn't let them put it on for a half hour... Thankfully the ENT was willing to chalk it up to behavior, which Travis thought it was. As long as he does fine tonight, he passes. :)

I just want to say hello, I started reading a little while back. I am mama to a 13 month old with LM in his neck, and I'm interested in connecting with other families dealing with this.
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy your boy is doing well with the capping trial. I hope he flies!
