A bit of improvement

Micah's day has been much better than his night. He's still dropping his stats, but not as far and not as often. They haven't had to intervene, he has brought them up on his own. This is all good news, but no answers as to why this is happening in the first place. One doctor said it just might be prematurity issues.
We finally got back the pathology report we've been waiting on for almost a week. It showed that Micah's condition is indeed a lymphatic malformation, and not a cervical teratoma. This is what they thought all along, but it's good to be sure.

  1. This kid is just bound and determined to play by his own rules, isn't he? :) You know by now that you guys are all in our constant thoughts and prayers. Glad to hear stats are better. Hang in there!!!! judek

  2. Travis & Britt, you are both such amazing parents! You are doing a fantastic job taking care of Micah! Micah is so precious and sweet. Auntie Tammy misses the little peanut-his serious "look", watching his long legs push out of the end of his cocoon and listening to Mr. Micah's grunting coos : ) Thank you for sharing this special time with me.
Sounds like Micah is missing his Grandma - I know she is counting the minutes till she's back with you.
Hang in there - hopefully it won't be long till Micah graduates to Ft Wayne and you end your ride on the emotional roller coaster ride of the NICU.
    Sending angels and love, Tammy

  3. Brittany (& Travis),
Love the Camp Mack hat pic of Micah! What a cutie! What a great surprise to get a note from you while I was at camp. Thanks!! Brought back memories of a certain camper I had "a couple" years ago! Praying for all of you!
