Nothing new...

Well, it's Friday. It's good people remind me, or else I might forget. Hopefully lots of the youth are having fun at movie night tonight.
Not much new to report today. They tried me on a third medicine to stop the contractions. So far, it doesn't seem to be doing anything. The good news is that the contractions aren't changing anything, and they don't seem to be getting any worse.
Kudos to anyone who has been in the hospital for more than a few days... It's driving me crazy. Thankfully I have a wonderful hubby that is taking good care of me.
Pray specifically that Micah doesn't come over the weekend... It's just not a good/easy time in hospital-land to make something happen (like his complicated delivery). The maternal-fetal doctor is pretty pleased that nothing has changed. I'm trying to keep it that way (as if I had a choice, right).
Have a good weekend... God bless
Brittany
(P.S. The ultrasound on Monday showed that Micah has hair! I forgot to mention that! He must take after his daddy).

  1. i know it must be hard to stay in bed for so long. you are such an active person and it's just not natural for you. i think God gives us lessons for us or others in their lives in everything that happens to us. I remember when i had a broken ankle at age 23 with a hip cast. i was bond to do everything myself no matter what. it was hard realizing i had a "handicap". But it helped me look at others with real handicaps and especially older people who would never get better the rest of their lives. it was then that i realized a visit to someone in that condition, no matter how long, means the world to them. and i;m sure each visit or card or flower sent means the world to you. it's just too bad you arent in the hospital closer so others can come see you and really show you how they care and want to be there for you and travis and micah. but i hope you know in our hearts we think about you constantly and pray for you always.
hang in there-- love, aunt cathy

  2. bless your heart, brittany; the only comfort is probably knowing that it will all be worth it when you finally get to meet little micah.... we all love you, and are in prayer for you often. micah is very blessed to have a mommy and daddy and grandparents, ucnles, and aunts who love him so much already...

  3. Hang in there kiddo...you'll be set free when the time is right. :) The youth did have a nice time with movie night from what I heard. Dave said there were 14 counting him and Craig. He took hotdogs and Rice Krispie treats w/MMs and there was other stuff. This morning was the Soap Scrimmage for CC football...admission is a package of soap for the guys to use in the locker room. We watched the game in between the raindrops. Later had a picnic and more raindrops.
Its hard to eat chicken, hold an umbrella and balance your plate at the same time but I managed. :) Take care and know that we are thinking of you guys. jude k
